Chris Cataldo
President
Chris Cataldo is a Discovery Specialist with a strong foundation in the eDiscovery lifecycle, backed by years of experience both at a leading eDiscovery vendor and currently in-house at Michael Best and Friedrich, LLP. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chris has worked extensively across all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), bringing a practical and strategic lens to litigation support. Chris also leads and supports multiple AI-driven initiatives, including work with Relativity's AiR suite and broader applications of general-purpose AI legal assistants. This blend of technical expertise and legal operations insight positions Chris at the forefront of innovation in legal technology.

Kristin Cataldo
Vice President & Director of Education
Kristin is a member of the Project Management Leadership team at Consilio. She has worked in eDiscovery and project management for seven years, and prior to that practiced commercial litigation in Boston for ten years. In addition to being an active member of the bar, Kristin received a Master’s of Laws in Litigation Management, which focused on legal project management and the skills necessary to collaborate with counsel and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies in complex litigation.
In her current role as a Client Experience Principal, Kristin oversees Consilio’s relationship with numerous AMLaw 50 firms, working with and between the law firms’ attorneys and Consilio’s eDiscovery teams to ensure Consilio is meeting, and exceeding, the case teams’ needs. Kristin has a proactive approach to project management, working with her teams and clients to identify and address potential issues before they arise.
Kristin holds a B.A. in Business Management from Assumption University. She received her J.D., Summa Cum Laude, from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, and her recent Executive LL.M. in Litigation Management from Baylor Law. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, the U.S.D.C. for the District of Massachusetts, and the First Circuit of Appeals.

Sarah Cantrell, CEDS
Secretary
Sarah Cantrell is a Certified eDiscovery Specialist with more than 15 years of experience in the legal field. As a Practice Support Project Manager at Robinson Bradshaw, she supports attorneys and clients with litigation technology, eDiscovery, and case management solutions.
Sarah began her legal career as a paralegal while earning her associate degree in paralegal studies. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and spent several years in legal operations before returning to direct attorney support—where her skills, experience and love for law and ethics are most impactful.
Since relocating from Tampa, Florida, Sarah enjoys exploring the outdoors in North Carolina, including kayaking and hiking.

David A. Gomez
Director of Marketing
David A. Gomez, CEDS brings 25 years of eDiscovery experience to his current role as Manager of Practice Support for Robinson Bradshaw, leveraging that experience in all phases of a case cycle, from providing consultation on eDiscovery issues to full trial support. In the ever-changing digital landscape, breaking down the complex issues relating to eDiscovery and creating a clear roadmap on how to navigate through the minefield of discovery disaster are key to any successful litigation. Every case is different, every budget is different, and as a University of Miami School of Business graduate, David recognizes the need to identify cost effective solutions internally or through external partnerships that both satisfy the need of the client and the case.
Participating in over 150 trials, arbitrations, and mediations since 2001, David has experienced many different venues at the Federal and State level, including Tax Court, Administrative Law, Court of Appeals, and Bankruptcy. Notable hot seat support include the US v John Edwards trial and more recently the North Carolina gerrymandering case that eventually went to the Supreme Court. A panel member on recent ILTA Voices podcasts "Sitting in The Hot Seat: Extreme Litigation Support" and "Sitting In The Hot Seat 2: Trial & Terror", he enjoys speaking about all things trial support, and offers a presentation on effective courtroom presentation tools and techniques.

Luke Waterson
Director of Membership
Luke Waterson is an eDiscovery Implementation Manager with over 20 years of experience leading legal data initiatives for law firms and legal teams. He specializes in automating, migrating, and optimizing eDiscovery workflows to improve compliance, defensibility, and operational efficiency. Luke currently manages enterprise-level transitions to cloud-based platforms, including RelativityOne and Everchron, and has implemented innovative governance frameworks and technology solutions to support large-scale legal operations. A longtime advocate for legal tech innovation, Luke is excited to support the growth and engagement of the North Carolina ACEDS Chapter.

Tracy Griffin, CEDS
Director at Large
Tracy Griffin is a strategic leader with over 20 years in the legal sector, 13 years of which focusing in the eDiscovery field. Tracy’s career has consisted of serving as a Litigation/Trial Paralegal, Trial Hot Seat Director, and serving as a liaison between clients, legal teams, IT personnel, and vendors. Her legal experience has ranged from Patent & Copyright litigation to Construction, Contractual, Class-Action, Product Liability, and Employment law at law firms representing Fortune 500 companies.
Tracy is a Certified e-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) with hands-on case and project management experience and working knowledge of eDiscovery, litigation system technology, deposition and trial support, along with strong decision-making, multi-tasking and organization skills. Tracy was recognized by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as one of Virginia’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals in 2020 with the award of “Unsung Legal Hero” honoring law firm employees, other than lawyers, who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes.
In her current position with Consilio as an Associate Director, Tracy manages and mentors teams while overseeing the execution of eDiscovery projects and ensuring quality, building and maintaining client relationships, understanding client needs, and presenting solutions. In her spare time, Tracy can typically be found by the salt water and sand in the beautiful State of North Carolina.
